The former phone box, which houses a defibrillator in Careby, has been been given a new lease of life after a full repaint by a village resident.
Bertie Thornton who recently moved to the village, personally decided it needed to be repainted. Having not been painted for five years, it was very faded.
Over two weekends, Bertie sanded and repainted the phone box and now, even the gold crowns have a new shine!
