Nine companies set to secure $18.6M in seed and pre-seed funding

Pi Labs, a global venture capital firm and accelerator program for early-stage proptech startups, today announced concluding its tenth growth program, according to Tech Round.

This program included nine companies, selected from 973 applicants across 47 countries in February, based on potential for innovation in reshaping and interacting with the physical world and built environment.

Pi Labs says that following the program’s conclusion, the participating companies are set to secure a total of $18.6 million in seed and pre-seed funding. It says this funding will “enable the startups to fuel growth into new markets, expand their teams and undertake further product development.”

In other recent proptech news, HomeLight announced raising $115 million in capital and acquiring Accept.inc. Quext also raised $63 million in funding from a network of private investors for its multifamily internet-of-things technology.
